Chemical etching is a process for manufacturing signs and labels with the graphics engraved into the metal. We use a photographic process that allows very fine detail to reproduce text, logos and even photographs. Unlike mechanical engraving there is no practical limit to the amount of detail that can be etched, and no extra charge for logos or large amounts of text.
Digital laser printing allows you to create durable yet attractive signage for use in public buildings and in other areas where signs need to look good but also withstand a lot of wear. The graphics are created inside the hard anodised surface so cannot be removed by solvents, abuse or heavy cleaning. It is a particularly good product for apartment signage, where low maintenance and easy cleaning are important considerations. It is a full colour digital process so you can create stunning effects using solid matt colours, or use a satin finish for brighter colours and a truly metallic effect.
Owing to signs being made completely bespoke the price is quoted subject to the following requirements:
1. size
2. material? (brass, stainless steel, aluminium, plastic laminate)
3. artwork (will you be supplying or need us to produce a layout example)
4. quantity
5. lasered or etched
6. timescale reuired
7. are screwholes and fixings required
