Delivery or Collection
Given the extensive range of various products, sizes and weights available via the website, those orders requiring Shipping and Handling (Delivery) are routed through our Sales Counter staff to price these charges. However, if customers are relatively local and can “Click & Collect” – then there are zero Shipping & Handling charges and we reserve the available stock and await their visit to collect. Also payment can be made at the time of collection, rather than in advance for delivered orders. Please note that even these orders require a Billing address with their order, as Dockerills are reserving stock on their behalf and in good faith to fulfill that order and validate the collection.
Shipping & Handling (Delivery)
From the Checkout in the Ordering Information section, orders requiring Shipping & Handling are quoted via the Sales Counter staff – thereby determining the method / timing and charges in discussion or correspondence with the customer. Delivery of Account customers’ orders, and those non-Account customer orders having been paid, are processed on a daily basis, whereby orders will be despatched (subject to availability) within 1 day and according to the quoted method.
Between the order and its fulfillment, there may be rare occasions when the product sent varies slightly from the image shown. Occasionally, if products are out of stock, we may source them form different suppliers.
If this happens, we will always send you a product of an equivalent quality and value, and have made every effort to contact you about these circumstances in advance of despatching the order.
Dockerills (Brighton) Ltd will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to delivery and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Delayed Shipments / Back Orders
If a part of your order is out of stock and likely to hold up delivery, then we will contact you by phone (or email) to discuss the options with you. Normally we await the arrival of the out of stock item to ship the whole order, but it depends on circumstances and customer requirements. If you request a part-order shipment, then we will advise you when the back order item is available and despatch separately, and agree if any extra shipping charges are required.
